julianne Koons
A Cape Cod resident since the age of seven, Julianne Koons has lived most of her life in the Harwich-Orleans areas and has been affiliated with American Heritage since 1996. After attending college in Vermont, she worked in restaurant management as well as computer training and consulting. Julianne’s interests include kayaking, fishing and walking the beach with her dog, Sam. She lives in Brewster with Sam and her cat, Tildy. She lives with her husband Harry, proprietor of the Nauset Angler, a great shop for fishermen, in East Orleans. |

Approximately six hundred parcels of private property lie within the bounds of the Cape Cod National Seashore.
At its creation in 1961, the National Park Service announced that it would eventually acquire a portion of the existing dwellings within its confines.
In 1985, the Land Protection Plan for the Cape Cod National Seashore was adopted, with definitive guidelines for the use of these private properties. |
